Carden Academy Morgan Hill is a non-sectarian school founded in 1992 by Evelyn Musavi and Gayanne Peckham after successfully operating another Carden school in San Jose for 20 years. In September of 2002, the school moved to its new location at the base of the foothills on the West side of Morgan Hill. Carden Academy continues to grow and prosper, providing students with the best education available in Morgan Hill.
Carden students learn more than the basics of reading, writing, and arithmetic. They learn to believe in themselves and their abilities, to find peace and pleasure in giving and sharing, and to explore the world around them with open eyes and open minds.
Carden students graduate from 8th grade with a love of learning, an appreciation for life, and an excellent grasp of all academic subjects. With a solid foundation of basic skills, they are well prepared for advanced learning.
At Carden Academy Morgan Hill, students have the best of the past, present, and future: traditional learning methods, a sequential and interrelated curriculum based on the classics, and an historic setting, all complemented by state-of-the-art technology and resources. In this safe and beautiful environment, young children grow into wonderfully poised young adults.
Through monthly assemblies, plays and other activities, Carden students of all ages develop self-confidence, poise, and a unique ability to interact with adults on many levels. Their efforts are critiqued, reinforced, and praised, teaching them the value and the rewards of hard work. Dignity and respect are the keystones of Carden Academy – they are awarded to, and expected from, the students.
